this is a screen shot of the added edit ticket screen in TeamHeadquarters. this screen allows the user to:
  • Assign a customer to the ticket by typing in the customers name or by browsing through the internal customer directory.
  • Set a name and description for the ticket as well as product, location, urgency, type, next action date, next step, due date, estimated due date, hours to complete, and state of the ticket.
  • Assign a person to be responsible for the ticket and send him or her notification
  • There is also a timer so that a user can open a ticket and leave it open while resolving the issue or enter the data in manualy.
Technology:
We developed this screen by transforming an XML stream to HTML and Javascript using XSL. On a save operation the data enterd by the user is converted back to XML using Javascript and sent back to the TeamHeadquarters XML Database.
